I did my take on Jack and the Beanstalk/ Jack the Giant Killer: The History of Jack the Giant-Killer

I remixed these old tales with a new, twisted personality for Jack: He's honest in everyone's eyes, but truthfully he's deceitful, sinister and downright bloodthirsty!

I love this story, I've read it once before a long time ago, and when I saw it on the list, I knew I had to try it out! This was s HUGE challenge, since, if you know the story, you cannot show the main character at all. However, I liked the challenge.  I choose to illustrate his climbing of the dark tower and his first moment seeing the real world. Hope you enjoy!

4 Panel Comics

My first attempt at 4 Panel 'manga' style. I've seen this a lot at the end of manga. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the manga 'Hetalia' was originally only drawn in this style as well, though I haven't read that one.
I think my humor is lacking, and the second comic I drew isn't really funny at all, just a diver and an unexpected meeting with a mermaid!

Goals~

I am a Computer Animation student, junior year, thick in the heat of thesis development. My mind is running with ideas. I love drawing and reading comics. My goal with this class is too advance my writing skills, character development and even maybe develop some new stories and/or characters. I am also open and ready for new comics to read and get involved in. I would love to get other's critic on my ideas as well.
